Epidemiology of IBD in Saudi Arabia. Are we ready for the next epidemic؟
We will go over the phases of evolution of the epidemiology of inflammatory bowel disease in populations. We will also touch up on the different genetic and environmental factors that might have a role in the development of inflammatory bowel disease and the literature on Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to have a better understanding of the affected population as well as their various presentations.
